Using Slab Serif makes the words pop more because of the thick legs.

Is simple and clean and makes the words look clean
Type: Old style

The letters are clean and easy to read
Type: Decorative

I do not like the typography used because it is difficult to read what it is. Another typography should have been used.
Type: Modern

The "oil treatment" is written in modern because the legs are words are thin. This is good typography to use because it is easy to read and see.

ReplyDeleteI think the modern text example also fits it well because it sort of looks foreign and Argan Oil is like a foreign thing...if that makes sense.
ReplyDeleteNICEEEEEE ! Very interesting and aesthetic looking typefaces and your explanations are even better, GREAT WORK
ReplyDeleteI like your choices of pictures! Just wished you would be more specific on why you think a certain type was an example of a certain type. Like the library card, why else does it make sense of it to be an oldstyle font but not a modern type? Just some food for thought but I agreed with a majority of your choices.
ReplyDeleteThe shirt pictures looks the same as someone's picture -.-
